A Sani Festival Production
A journey across the Mediterranean, this musical embrace of familial cultures is a tribute to Sani Festival whichhas always celebrated multiculturalism through music. This concert will be an anthology of contemporary Greek song and its eclectic affinities with Mediterranean and Western European sounds; a projection of the historical artistic footprint of Sani Festival as it balances with harmony between extraversion and support for Greek artistic creation. With performances in Greek as well as foreign languages, the programme features songs much loved in our country and abroad, including sounds representative of the entire Mediterranean (Italy, Portugal, Spain, France, Arab countries, Israel), showcasing iconic pieces of international music creation in coexistence and conversation with Greek melodies and Greek songs translated into other languages. It is a fresh, dynamic yet nostalgic show, a unique performance with an aura of sun, sea, Greece and the Mediterranean.
